Fairplay to the Montrealers for braving the cold on March 16th 2014. It was a blistering cold day for a parade, so cold that it impacted the sound of the marching bands. The bagpipes made for Scottish weather, were not used to a shivering -20C and so they froze, leaving the bands marching through the streets instead. The crowds still came and gathered on the sunny side of the street, hoping to stay warm while the three hour parade passed by. Everyone wore green and was a little Irish on this 191st Paddy's day parade here in Montreal.
